历史信息介绍Introduction to R&D History:
东风9型高速客运机车,是戚墅堰机车厂在1990~1991年间生产的;起因是自改革开放以来,原本各地发展较为平衡的产业格局被打破,地方产业变卖破产,导致许多原本在家乡工作的工人失业为了生存涌向大城市,这也就是自80年代以后铁路客运和货运越来越集中和大规模的底层原因;而自此以后,每年春节也就出现了大量返乡人口流动的一大景观。而铁路运输自80年代以后发展迟滞,以进口技术代替为主的策略,加之1984年人民公社被彻底废除,原本的合作化农业变为分田到户单干,公社共有的农机也拆了变卖,导致的更多农业人口无法靠非机械化务农来维持一家的生存,便只能放弃务农外出务工,至今如此。最终,这一系列社会制度剧变使得落后的铁路运力以及无法满足人员流动和时效的要求,这也就使得80年代末以后铁路运力不足的问题已经火烧眉毛了。而说回到东风9型机车,这一机车也则是在这期间在东风8内燃机车的机车基础上搞出来的应急产物,也注定了这是试验车。这一型机车曾在实验中达到了170km/h,并在1993年分配给了广深铁路公司负责牵引广九直通车。而后的2005年在经过大修以后替换了大量的东风11型零配件,性能也同东风11型相当。2010年末,这两台机车报废封存了起来;不过有意思的是,原本其中一台车据说要送往中国铁道博物馆进行保存,但广州铁路公司不愿付出运输费,因此直接拆解报废了。

This is also the underlying reason why railway passenger and freight transportation have become increasingly concentrated and large-scale since the 1980s; Since then, there has been a phenomenon of a large number of national level returnees migrating every Spring Festival. However, the development of railway transportation has been sluggish since the 1980s, with the strategy of relying mainly on imported technology. In addition, the People’s Commune was completely abolished in 1984, and the original cooperative agriculture was changed to separate farming for individual households. The shared agricultural machinery of the commune was also dismantled and sold, resulting in more agricultural populations being unable to rely on non mechanized farming to sustain their livelihoods, so they had to give up farming and go out to work. This is still the case today. In the end, this series of social system upheavals resulted in outdated railway transportation capacity and inability to meet the requirements of personnel mobility and timeliness, which made the problem of insufficient railway transportation capacity urgent after the late 1980s. Speaking of the Dongfeng 9 locomotive, this locomotive was also an emergency product developed on the basis of the Dongfeng 8 diesel locomotive during this period, and it was destined to be a test vehicle. This type of locomotive reached 170km/h in experiments and was assigned to Guangzhou Shenzhen Railway Company in 1993 to tow the Guangzhou Kowloon through train. In 2005, after major repairs, a large number of Dongfeng 11 type spare parts were replaced, and the performance was also comparable to that of Dongfeng 11 type. At the end of 2010, these two locomotives were scrapped and sealed up; Interestingly, one of the cars was originally supposed to be sent to the China Railway Museum for preservation, but Guangzhou Railway Company was unwilling to pay the transportation fee, so it was dismantled and scrapped directly.
