Powerful Base Weapons
Well fear no more, this mod makes the default player weapons have a strong kick, deal great damage and not have ridiculous spread.
Finally, the hl2 weapons get the buff and strength they deserve, rather than being some afterthought.
It’s a simple script that makes it so that a players default weapons are actually viable (and strong enough) for use. You don’t have to go searching around your spawn list for a shotgun that actually does something more than intentionally miss your target in case you are threatened or have to fight.
What was once a pathetic peashooter can now kill with 2 – 3 shots. Magnum actually feels like a revolver. The AR2 is now a good combat rifle. And so on.
Can be enabled or disabled if you want to see how bad the defaults are again, I guess.
