UPDATE – 26/01/2013 – Master Armourer should now correctly add +4 rather than +3 Armour.

Hello All

As per request of a few people, i’ve made a minor blacksmith tweak.

Basically does anyone find it weird how Blacksmiths forget all knowledge of how to upgrade weapons once they become an armoursmith?

Quick Rundown of the Changes

Tier 1 – Blacksmith

+1 to Ashigaru Armour/Melee Damage
+1 to Samurai Armour/Melee Damage

Tier 2 – Armoursmith

+2 to Ashigaru Armour
+2 to Samurai Armour
+1 to Ashigaru Melee Damage
+1 to Samurai Melee Damage

Tier 3 – Weaponsmith

+2 to Ashigaru Melee Damage
+2 to Samurai Melee Damage
+1 to Ashigaru Armour
+1 to Samurai Armour

Tier 4 – Master Armoursmith

+4 to Ashigaru Armour
+4 to Samurai Armour
+4 to Special Armour (Kisho Ninja’s, Monks etc)
+2 to Ashigaru Melee Damage
+2 to Samurai Melee Damage
+2 to Special Melee Damage (Kisho Ninja’s, Monks etc)

Tier 4 – Master Weaponsmith

+4 to Ashigaru Melee Damage
+4 to Samurai Melee Damage
+4 to Special Melee Damage (Kisho Ninja’s, Monks etc)
+2 to Ashigaru Armour
+2 to Samurai Armour
+2 to Special Armour (Kisho Ninja’s, Monks etc)

This mod has had very little testing as I don’t have long to game at the moment. I’ve basically just booted up a Shimazu game to see if their Blacksmith had the Ashigaru upgrades and it did but the next tiers are all unknown.
