OPERATION JUST BLADE
Mission: Operation Canal Shield
Date: December 20, 1989
Location: Pacific Coast of Panama
At the onset of Operation Just Cause, a U.S. carrier battle group is tasked with a focused strike deep into contested territory.
Two enemy naval groups have been detected — one led by a destroyer-class warship. An enemy headquarters coordinates regional defenses and must be neutralized.
Recon is limited. Your lone AWACS may not survive. The carrier group must rely on its own radar and air superiority.
Primary Objectives:
– Destroy the enemy headquarters
– Locate and sink the enemy destroyer
Secondary Objectives:
– Suppress SAM sites and radar
– Destroy fuel and industrial infrastructure
– Eliminate armored ground units
– Maintain integrity of the carrier group
No reinforcements. Expect resistance by air, sea, and land. Strike fast. Strike hard.
