The version warning was bugging me so I changed it to "be compatible" with the latest CK3 version. As is I have not made any functional changes to the mod.

If requested the mod will be taken down.

[v1.11.0] Adds a "Toggle Debug" button in the Encyclopedia. Super light-weight and probably won’t conflict with other mods, unlike some alternatives on the workshop.

Pro-tip hotkey combo for toggling: F10 -> F11 -> F10 (Paradox changed this from F9 to F10 in v1.9)

You can hit F10 to open and close the Encyclopedia to make your life easier. When the Encyclopedia is open (and only then), you can hit F11 to Toggle Debug Mode.

Unfortunately that’s the best I can do without touching significant UI files, and the whole point of this mod is to avoid that. It’s not as nice as global hotkey, but there are just too many mods that touch the UI, and I was really tired of having to pick between a Debug Toggle or an interface mod.

Ironman Compatability: No, sadly. The method being used to toggle debug mode on (the same one that the "Debug Mode" button in the vanilla debug console uses) no longer works when Ironman is enabled. If you start the game with the -debug_mode argument, the console works for a little bit, but as soon as you use the encylopedia button from this mod, OR the button in the debug console, the whole console locks you out with an error that says, "No Console commands in ironman!"

Achievement Compatability: Nope, it looks like toggling debug mode is one of the mod behaviors that disallows achievements.

Troubleshooting:

1. Make sure you’re not in Ironman mode, because it only works there to disable debug mode if the game was launched with it. It can’t be toggled back on right now.

2. If you don’t see the button in the encyclopedia, it’s either not being loaded or it’s being overwritten by another mod that also touches the encyclopedia. Try putting this mod at the end of your load order. KNOWN PROBLEM MODS THAT MUST BE LOADED BEFORE THIS MOD: Foundational Framework

3. If you can see the button, but it’s not doing anything, let me know in these comments and I’ll check it out when I can.
