[xdR] TF2 Laughing Animations
Ever felt that the gmod laugh taunt was a bit lackluster? here’s a mod to fix that.
Replaces the male and female laughing taunts with the ones from team fortress 2.
Male using Heavy’s and Female using Pyro’s.
Requires XDR to function, replaces slot 31 of male and female’s animations.
Compatible with any model that uses default male or female animations.
Q: WHY???
A: Mostly done as a test to port tf2 animations to valvebiped animations as they use different skeleton types.
Q: HOW DO I DO THE TAUNT???
A: in the console, type ‘act laugh’, or if you want to key bind it, that would be ‘bind keyhere "act laugh"’
Q: DOES IT PLAY THE LAUGHING SOUNDS FROM TF???
A: No, it doesn’t.
Q: CAN YOU INSTEAD HAVE X BE Y’S LAUGH ANIMATION/MAKE A VERSION WITH X?????
A: No.
Q: IM ON A FRIENDS SERVER, AND THERE’S A PAUSE AFTER I DO THE TAUNT!!!
A: That’s because the laughing animation is way longer than tf2’s laughing animation,
(TF2’s laughing animations are about 115ish frames vs gmod’s which are like 200)
also because whoever you joined does not have the mod installed.
Q: WILL YOU MAKE MODS FOR THE OTHER TAUNTS???
A: Probably, Probably not, i’m not sure yet. It would be super time consuming.
