simpleHUD – FPS friendly

simpleHUD is a clean, lightweight, and customizable HUD for Garry’s Mod, built with performance in mind.

This is my first addon — originally made for personal use on a low-end PC with 8GB RAM. I decided to share it in case others want a minimal HUD that activates only when needed and uses almost no resources.

– Only shows when holding a key (default: E)
– Smooth camera movement
– Animated transitions
– Health, armor, stims, armor plates, clock, ammo, and heart icon
– Optional healing and armor sound feedback
– Optional background blur
– Customizable icon positioning

– Fully client-side and won’t conflict with gamemode HUDs
