Description:

This sub-mod for Warcraft Guardians of Azeroth allows powerful vassals not of the culture of their ruler to spread their own culture to counties of their religion. Thereby allowing the culture of the vassals of a multi-cultural empire (such as the Alliance or Horde) to spread into regions they control.

Specifically what this mod does is fix (what I see as) an oversight in the base game culture spreading mechanics: [Ignoring crown focus events and settle tribe] By default in the base game and Guardians of Azeroth a county will only convert culturally if the ruler of it is independent or has the same culture as the top level ruler of their country and the county they control has the same religion as the one who rules it. This mod changes the requirements so that a county will convert culturally if the ruler is independent, a duke, or a king, or if they have the same culture as their direct liege and the county is their religion.

As it stands without this mod, if you are playing the King of Stormwind and are part of the alliance ruled by the Dwarves of Ironforge, and you take over a county of Knolls next to your capital. It doesn’t matter if you rule it for five years or five hundred, it will not convert to Azerothian so long as you are a vassal to a different culture. With this mod the county will convert naturally over time, which makes sense.

This mod does require the Warcraft Guardians of Azeroth mod to run, which can be found on the workshop uploaded by the user Zumbak. Without that mod this one will not run.

If you want a version of this mod for the base game, coegho made a mod called "Vassals’ culture spread" which is in the workshop and was a great inspiration for the making of this mod.

A special thanks to Forsaken139 for encouraging me to put this onto the workshop for others to enjoy.
