Hover Forts: Remastered
This Mod makes your Forts Hover.
It contains:
Materials:
#Tarp: A blue rope/plank with much air drag which is used to make your Hover Fort better Controlable.
#Heavy Platform: Background material with huge weight. Can also support devices!!!
#Structural metal: Capable of withstanding great weight. It is the perfect version of bracing.
Devices:
#Mini Reactor: A small reactor which generates metal and energy and also has some storage capacities.
#Upgraded Mini Reactor: An upgraded version of the Mini Reactor which generates more resources and has more storage capacities.
#Weight: Use it to balance or unbalance your Hover Fort.
#Disabler: Applies EMP effect in 1 base bracing radius. Useful for disabling your Hoverboards. Use wisely!!!
#Low Altitude Hover Thruster: Makes your Fort hover.
#Jump Thruster: Makes your Hover Fort jump over obstacles, rockets and enemies, use it with caution.
#High Altitude Hover Thruster: Make your Fort hover higher.
#Industrial Hover Thruster: Allows to support colossal structures. Very overheated. Sets everything under it on fire, including your fort.
Weapons:
#Thruster: Makes your Hover Fort move.
How to use:
1. Build a Fort which is wider than it is high.
2. Place 4 Hover Thrusters symmetrically on your Fort, 2 of them should be at the edges each.
3. Add 2-8 Tarps on your Fort like crossbracing.
4. Activate the thrusters.
5. Delete all connections to others Forts or the ground.
6. It should be hovering now.
7. Use structure metal
Advanced Tips:
1. Have a little bit of armour or shields in front of the edge thrusters.
2. Don´t place jump thrusters in the mid of the Fort.
3. Place jump thrusters symmetrically and activate them at the same time.
4. Have 2 pairs of extra Hover Thrusters which you only activate if others get destroyed.
5. Use EMP Rockets to shoot at Hover Thrusters, they deactivate them, but also don´t forget to have AA against enemy EMP Rockets.
6. Build your Hover Forts Symmetrically.
7. Add metal to move your Hover Fort, by making it unbalanced or use weights to make it unbalanced.
8. Use doors to make thrusters stop firing.
9. Close the doors of some hover thrusters to move.
