‘ayo! This gun may look familiar to you as the Spectre from the N64 game GoldenEye007 OR from the Call of Duty: Black Ops installment.
The Spectre M4 is an Italian Submachine gun that was designed in the 1980s, and was in production until the early 2000s. It saw limited exports outside of Italy’s own military forces (other than a few countries and civilian variants sold to the US as semi-auto pistols), and faded into obscurity after production ended. It is still in use by a few countries as small-arms equipment. Particularly by the French National Police, the Swiss Armed Forces, and the Italian Armed Forces.
