The 88th Tactical Fighter Squadron "Death Adders" is the BADF’s island-born strike wing—stationed at Ashwood AFB, tucked deep in the volcanic wilds of Ignus. Formed in the shadow of rising PALA tensions, the squadron earned its name not just for its venomous precision, but for the way it waits—silent, hidden, and patient. Flying KR-67 Ifrits, the Death Adders operate on a doctrine of brutal efficiency: hit fast, disappear faster. Their pilots are known across the BADF as ghostlike professionals—aloof in peacetime, merciless in combat—honed by salt air, jungle sorties, and live-fire drills in the crater-shadowed skies of the Ignus chain. For the enemies of Boscali, the first sign of the 88th’s presence is often the last.
