Camera Zoom
Increases the virtual resolution by 20% and changes various shaders. You can customize the camera zoom in the ‘Mod settings’ menu.
In addition, modifies the worm blood nightvision (enabled by default). This can be customized as well.
In general I *don’t* recommend to use this mod together with any mods that modify the same variables or files (see Compatibility and Similar Mods).
Compatibility
- Modifies the variables ‘VIRTUAL_RESOLUTION_X’ and ‘VIRTUAL_RESOLUTION_Y’ in the file ‘magic_numbers.xml’.
- Modifies the shader files:
- data/shaders/post_final.vert
- data/shaders/post_final.frag
- data/shaders/post_glow1.frag
- data/shaders/post_glow2.frag
Similar Mods
- HD Noita: Changes the virtual resolution and shaders. The fog of war seems to work fine. There might be differences like the zoom of the background texture and the the water distortion effect.
- Smol Minä: Shrinks the player and zooms in the camera. You can use both mods together. Make sure that Camera Zoom is loaded after Smol Minä. Otherwise you run into problems with the fog of war.
- ZOOM*: Has the same goal. Increases the virtual resolution but does not change the shaders. This leads to issues with the fog of war for example.
- Tweakeroo: Has a camera zoom option. Works in the same way as in the mod ZOOM. The zoom can be customized.
- Ultrawide*: Different goal but making similar changes. Adds ultra-wide support to the game.
