Second Chance
Yakuza hitman’s mind trip to fix his mistake during the final moments of his life.
Necessary backstory:
"Two bullets, that’s all it took to stop the career of two hitmen when they let their guard down. A mistake.
One for you, one for your partner. Two bullets, shot not from the gun of your enemy, but from a gun of the person you trusted. Gun of your friend and Yakuza wakagashira: Itachi. Why? You two wanted to leave the business far too early.
As you lay there, blood running down your wound, phasing in and out of consciousness, life starts flashing before your eyes, memories fading, merging together. Soon, you don’t even know what’s real and what’s not as your dying brain fills with hallucinogens to soothe you during your death.
Suddenly, you wake up on a hospital gurney. You don’t know where, you don’t know how.
You see a red light, shining down on your trusty Automag on the ground. Now you know what you must do, you don’t have much time. Red light will guide you. You have one more chance to take revenge for the betrayal. You have to avenge your death and the death of your partner. You have to fix your mistake, so you can rest peacefully.
You have to kill Itachi."
