Mutator: Assassin
Inspired on the Assassin Skull from Halo 2
This mod adds a cloaking/invisibility effect for a chosen team (default: Ravens).
Features
Those cloaked will remain invisible unless:
- They take damage
- They fall over / ragdoll
- They die
For Bots
- Enemy bots can’t target those cloaked unless when visible.
- When cloaked, they will show their weapons if they have a target. This does not however make them visible to enemies and is mainly for balancing and player readability.
- Cloaked bots will also show weapons when near the player.
- They will also decloak automatically within a certain distance of their target (default: 15 units).
For the Player
- Cloaked players can only show weapons when they are aiming.
- Players will also decloak automatically but within a certain distance of any nearby enemy.
Customisation
We have options!
- Team Filter – Choose which team to affect, or both!
- Affect Player – Enable or disable cloaking for the player.
- Player Decloak Within Distance Rule – Choose if you want the player to decloak within distance of the enemy.
- Spawn Cloaking Chance – A filter for adding probability for cloaking upon spawning.
- AI Skill Filter – For checking if the AI has the skill level you choose for cloaking upon spawning.
- Decloaking Distance – Set which distance cloaked units will automatically decloak at. Set it to 0 if you don’t ever want them to decloak.
- Affect Vehicles – Control vehicles being cloaked when cloaked units are occupying it.
Compatibility
This mod will clash with other mods that also affect actor/weapon rendering and AI targeting.
