Capital – HouseName
In China during this period, nobles would typically not change their family name unless under exceptional circumstances, such as receiving a new surname from the emperor or altering it to escape persecution. When two branches of the same surname emerged, people would distinguish them using a location-surname format. Inspired by this, this mod attaches the family head’s capital to their surname, signifying the seat of their power while differentiating between houses of the same name.
A game rule has been added to toggle whether newly founded branches should adopt a modified surname. Currently, this setting only applies to characters of Chinese heritage.
Be Careful: This mod only modifies the display format of house names to [Location]-[House Name]. If you’ve enabled the "No Surname Change When Forming New House Branches" rule, please pay attention to avoid confusion—this primarily applies to event texts.
