American Traffic Signs
American Traffic Signs signals its entry into Smack Studio! It will ensure your opponents exit offstage with no problems.
Although American Traffic Signs is my first joke character, it has been designed around the Base Roster. This means that attacks are clear, have plenty of startup and endlag, and that the character itself fights on even ground with them.
That being said, this character is absolutely not suited for any kind of tournament or competitive scene.
Jab: It throws a bunch of signs at you.
Tilts:
Side-Tilt is designed as a combo starter and a push off move.
Up-Tilt is a combo starter for ceiling kills.
Down-Tilt is good for ledgetrapping and hitting opponents just out of reach of forward tilt.
Aerials:
Up Air railroads go chuggachuggachugga
Down Air go BONK
Forward Air go THWACK
Back Air go SPLOOSH
Neutral Air go potato (I might change this one as it’s kinda bad lol)
Smashes:
Forward Smash has slow startup and endlag, but HONKHONK
Up Smash is sure to get the POINT aCROSS the Street!
Down Smash is BONKBONKBONK
Specials:
Up Special is plane ridiculous
Down Special is a counter, counting down your opponent’s demise
Side Special is RNG projectiles. Here are the stats!
Tractors: 45%
Sticky Cow: 8%
UFO Deer: 8%
Horseback Rider: 7%
10% Self damage: 5%
Homing Snowmobile: 4%
Kangaroo: 4%
Roadsign Worker: 4%
Wisteria Ice: 4%
Marco Gormboo: 3%
Touhou Project 12: UFO Murasa Anchors: 3%
Vesta Ultra: 1%
While on Cooldown, pressing Side-B will immediately play the self-damage attack, allowing it to act as a self-damage recovery.
Neutral Special is RNG with a 33% random effect from three different effects, green = high knockback and damage, yellow = medium knockback + reflects projectiles, red = zero knockback + unblockable hitstun.
