Daughter of Song
When Q came into the world of Smack Studio, he retained knowledge of reality and understood just what power he had in this realm. He decided, in a fit of sheer, unequivocal boredom that he would create a legion of monsters and a lair for all of them to live; his own kingdom. Running a kingdom by oneself is a rather quixotic prospect. So, to serve as second in command of this kingdom, Q spawned the Daughter of Song: a non-biological daughter who would lead all the other creatures and protect them in Q’s absense. Nobody knows her name, nobody knows what her face looks like. Maybe you can knock that goofy helmet off?
ARCHETYPE/GAMEPLAN
The Daughter of Song plays as an aerial grappler, using her 4 midair jumps and aerial throws to bully the opponent whenever they’re offstage or venture too high up into her territory. Her throws are great for killing offstage or off the top as well as controlling where the opponent ends up.
SPECIALS
NEUTRAL SPECIAL: Daughter’s Wing
Her front wing glows bright for a second, anticipating an attack. This move is both a counter and a reflect.
SIDE SPECIAL: Harpy Dash
She dashes forward midair or on the ground, talons first. This move will grab the opponent, allowing you to use any of your throws.
UP SPECIAL: Take Off
The Daughter of Song soars high into the air. You can act out of this move as well.
DOWN SPECIAL: Dart Feathers
The Daughter of Song fires feathers from her wings as sharp projectiles. On the ground, she shoots three straight forward, but in the air, she shoots three arrows quickly in a downward diagonal angle.
ULTRA: Harpy’s Chorus
With the help of an orchestra, the Daughter of Song uses her shrieking voice to wreck the opponent.
