Operation Atlantic Gatekeeper – Falklands Mission
Cooperative scenario for up to 6 players. You spawn at an improvised airbase and must choose your aircraft — options include the F5, IAI Dagger, Pucará, and others. You can rearm missiles, refill ammo, and repair your aircraft inside the empty hangar next to the fuel containers. It is also possible to choose the aircraft’s loadout and configure the field of view.
There are 3 objectives on the map: destroy the naval convoy, destroy the aircraft carrier HMS Hermes, and destroy the ground logistics convoy. You can choose the order in which to complete them. If either the naval convoy or the logistics convoy reaches the highlighted area, you lose the mission. To successfully complete the mission, all objectives must be accomplished.
There are threats from some Harrier jets and short-range AA missiles and cannons, but nothing unbalanced for the aircraft used in the mission.
Mission + Dependencies: 7Gb
In "Operation Atlantic Gatekeeper," the player must take off from an improvised airbase to intercept multiple British targets around the Falkland Islands: destroy the aircraft carrier HMS Hermes docked in port, annihilate a logistics convoy approaching from the west, and neutralize a naval convoy approaching from the north, preventing any of them from reaching the port via Falkland Sound, which is defended by British Royal Air Force Harrier jets.
