Description:

The BB 22200 are dual-voltage electric locomotives (1.5 kV DC and 25 kV 50 Hz AC) built by Alstom for the SNCF between 1976 and 1986.
They are a dual-voltage version of the BB 7200 and BB 15000 series.
Capable of reaching a top speed of 200 km/h, these versatile locomotives have operated various services, from regional trains to long-distance routes like the Train Bleu.
