Persistent Avatar Timer
The base game has been changed to work like this! Sorta. Jake isn’t as mean and he still gives you a week each time.
I will leave this mod up for compatibility with existing saves (it should still work), but you don’t need this mod anymore.
If you want the same hardcore experience, you can set DefaultGameData.ini : AlienHeadquarters_MinLoseModeDuration to 0 for the same lack of grace period this mod offers 🙂
Makes the avatar project timer persist throughout the game.
In other words, when the avatar progress bar maxes out, the timer won’t reset; instead, it will continue from where it left off.
No more stalling by riding the doom clock. I recommend hitting facilities as soon as you can!
There is an INI file where you can configure a minimum time, in case you always want to guarantee that you have at least 12 hours or something. By default, there is no minimum – use your one grace period wisely!
No class overrides or even UI listeners. This should be compatible with anything that doesn’t also alter the doom clock code.
