The Void Awakens
This mod changes the Mindspin ability for the Sectoid, and if the effect is triggered it will allow the ability to knock a soldier unconscious giving the aliens a advantage if you don’t pack mindshields.

LORE: After seeing the success of the Stun lancer in combat against Xcom the aliens decided to modify the Sectoid to where new versions can now knock out enemy combatants and provide better support to pin downed units and subdue resistance targets for interrogation.

This is one of two mods I shall put together the second one I have planned should make the stun lancer have tranquilizer rounds that knock’s your soldier out in a couple of turns if hit.

Also feel free to edit my code and redistribute it as you will.
Mod Compatibility:
Should not have any compatibility issues with any mod even ones that modify the Mindspin template including Playable aliens.
Side note: You can modify the files in the mods directory.
The file you are looking for is called X2Ability_Sectoid_Red.
you have gotten their open the file in a text editor, and scroll down
to the effect name unconscious and you will see stats changes like 4 and 5 for the ability.
Those will allow you to change the order it is set as.
For example in order for it to take effect. More it needs to be set as 1 and 1
But if you want it to take effect change panics stats to a 4 and 5 and replace
Unconscious effects stats with 1 and 1.
Update: 1.01 fixed some file names and errors when testing. Should work properly, but if their are any errors post them in the bug report.
