Description:

This mod introduces periods of time without music while on planets.

Ever wanted to go down to a planet and just listen to the ambience of the world, and not have to break the silence started on your ship? Ever wished there was at least a little bit of a break between songs every now and again? Well this mod attempts to fix that. A simple 1-minute-long silence track has been added, and every biome and time of day has a good chance of playing it whenever music is selected. This solution isn’t perfect, as it doesn’t guarentee that silent periods will be frequent, nor that several songs won’t be played back to back to back. It just makes quiet periods on planets possible.

Technical stuff:

The mod adds a sound track and over a dozen entries of the music track to every biome’s night and day music selection list. The effect is client-side and doesn’t need to be installed by servers or friends.

This mod should be maximally compatible with other mods (if you find a situation where it breaks leave a bug report in the Feedback Thread and tell me what mods you are using, ALL of them). Also supports the Citybound mod populated worlds!

The mod has been tested with most planets and biomes but not yet all.

Should work with FU but that is untested. Give me feedback if you try it, thanks!
