Description:

Inspired by Civilization V’s Maya, rework the Mayan Trait to the Long Count Calendar. The Maya now gain free Great People via the Long Count Calendar. Both Lady Six Sky and the Observatory receive bonuses interacting with the effects of these granted Great Persons.

Maya

Civilization Trait: Long Count Calender
  • Grants a free Great Scientist, Great Prophet, Great Artist orGreat Engineer of your choice at the end of every B’ak’tun in Mayan Long Count calendar. (and Great Agriculturalist as well, if you used my Manor and Great Agriculturalist Mod)

Civilization Unique District: Ek Nah
  • A district unique to the Maya for scientific endeavors.
  • +1 Science for every 2 Population, but does not receive generic adjacency bonuses.
  • After recruiting a type of Great Person with the Mayan Long Count Calender trait for the first time, +1 yield of that type for every 2 Population.
  • Replaces the Campus district and cheaper to build.

Civilization Unique Unit: Hul‘che
  • Nothing changed.

Lady Six Sky

Leader Trait: Daykeeper
  • Awards a freely-chosen technology / awards a freely-chosen civic / completes 20% of production of all wonders under construction in each city when recruiting the first Great Scientist / Great Artist / Great Engineer with the Mayan Long Count trait, respectively (to choose the Technology or Civic to be awarded, please click on the Technology icon on the Technology or Civic tree).
  • (and grants a free Builder in each city when recruiting the first Great Agriculturalist , if you used my Manor and Great Agriculturalist Mod)

  • End of 3rd B’ak’tun: 1537 BCE
  • End of 4th B’ak’tun: 1143 BCE
  • End of 5th B’ak’tun: 748 BCE
  • End of 6th B’ak’tun: 354 BCE
  • End of 7th B’ak’tun: 41 BCE
  • End of 8th B’ak’tun: 435 CE
  • End of 9th B’ak’tun: 830 SE
  • End of 10th B’ak’tun: 1224 CE
  • End of 11th B’ak’tun: 1618 CE
  • End of 12th B’ak’tun: 2012 CE
