Description:

The Kawarimi Log or ‘Ninja Log’ is an item that can be used to escape danger by having it take your place right as you would be attacked.

To use the ‘Ninja Log’ move to a good spot and activate the item to set the position, then the next time you would take damage in that room instead of being hurt you will teleport to the set location and the ‘Ninja Log’ will take your place.

Having you suddenly swap places with a log confuses the enemies in the room for a moment, since you apparently just magically turned into a log somehow, this gives you a moment to get your bearings after having just teleported across the room.
