Liminal Skyboxes Edited
This is an edited version of the amazing Liminal Skyboxes by yoru
Basically, it’s is an all-in-one skybox/color correction pack to give you darker nights.
You should use a flashlight mod – I recommend this one.
The original Liminal Skyboxes does an excellent job of making the night campaigns darker, but it looks a little shady in daytime campaigns and doesn’t work properly on official servers (since it relies on [Vscript] TRS Beta Fog Cvars [Edited] which only works on singleplayer/local servers).
So I have edited it to look natural in both day and night campaigns, without using [Vscript] TRS Beta Fog Cvars [Edited] so it will work perfectly on official servers.
Some campaigns have been fully reverted back to vanilla, some have had just the skyboxes reverted back to vanilla, some have had the skyboxes edited to match vanilla fog. I have also included miru’s Swamp Fever Beta Inspired Color Correction since I think it looks more natural than vanilla. See the pictures for more details on what has changed.
The end result is an all-in-one install that will make night campaigns darker while preserving the vanilla look on daytime campaigns. But as a tradeoff, it’s not as dark as the original Liminal Skyboxes, so if you want even darker nights, I would check that out.
