Scandinavia Revisited
A somewhat light overhaul of the mission trees of Norway, Denmark and Sweden. While the vanilla missions for the Scandinavian nations are by no means bad, I personally feel like they could do with some changing. It’s pretty clear that Paradox refined their mission tree philosophy since Lions of the North, and so I want to try and bring some of those improvements to the Scandinavian trees. This includes more shared rewards between the nations, while also adding some more unique buffs, that are often optional in whether or not you want to attain them. The goal of the mod is not to be overpowered, though of course, given the powercreep of the base game, what that term means is somewhat subjective.
The mod is most likely not compatible with other overhaul mods, or mods that change cultures, government reforms (unless they leave vanilla governments alone), or estate privileges. Most of the expanded mod family (not EU expanded) should be compatible (except religions and culture), however I would place this this mod above theirs just to be on the safe side.
– New missions for the Scandinavian nations.
– Rework of many of the old missions.
– Unique Parliament issues for the Norwegian Monarchy.
– More ‘shared’ rewards, allowing for example Norway to get the Allotment System or Denmark get Leidang Conscription.
– Unique Tier 1 Government Reform for Sweden and Iceland.
– The Allotment System has been improved so that you can also get more Caroleans from Norwegian and Danish provinces, not just Swedish and Finnish.
– Minor additions to Finland and Gotland
– Old Scandinavia flag replaced with the much better looking Victoria 3 flag.
