Better Sorting Expanded
Expands on Better Sorting to include more granular categories.
Many items are manually sorted into new categories, but the mod also tries to apply some logic to the sorting of items based on their name and other attributes, just like Better Sorting.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions for new categories or mods that should be included in the list above, or if you see items that you think are not sorted correctly.
This mod is safe to install or remove at any time and works in both single and multiplayer.
- Container – Liquid: Anything that can hold water.
- Cooking – Beverage: Items you can create beverages with.
- Cooking – Condiment: Oils, sauces, etc.
- Cooking – Container: Pans and other stuff you can cook in.
- Cooking – Cup: Cups. That’s it.
- Cooking – Serving: Bowls and plates (if you use ServingPlates).
- Cooking – Spice: Put your salt and pepper in spice racks with this category!
- Cooking – Tool: Things used in cooking.
- Cooking – Utensil: Forks, spoons, etc… Might not be useful but at least it’s not "Item" or "Junk".
- Crafting – Building: Stuff you might use for working on your cozy apocalypse house.
- Crafting – Building – Paint: Paint brushes and cans.
- Food – Canned: Canned food
- Food – Jarred: Jars (I don’t think this one works properly yet)
- Food – Perishable – Beverage: No more rotten milk in kitchen cabinets!
- Food – Perishable – Fish
- Food – Perishable – Meat
- Food – Perishable – Serving: Finished plates/bowls/pans of food.
Tools are now sorted into subcategories based on the relevant skill.
- Tool – Carpentry
- Tool – Cleaning
- Tool – Electrical
- Tool – Farming
- Tool – Mechanics
- Tool – Medical
- Tool – Metalworking
- Tool – Survival
- Tool – Tailoring
- Mechanics – Paint: Used if PaintYourRide is enabled for automotive paints.
- Money: Used if ZBAY is enabled to keep your money out of the trash can.
These mods have some or all of their items sorted into custom categories manually.
