Class 113 (hydraulic)
BR class 113 in BR Green with yellow warning panel, the livery in which they spent the majority of their lives.
The class 113 is closely related to the 112, the only differences being a larger headcode box above the cab incorporating the destination display, and a hydraulic transmission as opposed to the 112s standard gearbox.
The class 113s entered service in 1960 along with the similar 112s. Unfortunately, like the 112s, the 113s had very short working lives with none of them lasting more than 10 years and none from either class have been preserved.
I also changed the gauges to remove the tachometer (as its not necessary on hydro units), i couldn’t find any photos of the 113s cab so i made an assumption and moved the brake gauge to where the tacho would be on the 112 to make it easier to see
