Description:

The Class 115 was build by Derby for the Chiltern Lines and Manchester-Liverpool express services. 41 of these high density 4-car units were delivered in 1960 and remained in service until the early 90s.

Unlike the very similar class 127, this class used normal gearboxes and hence could retain its blue square control system. The class 115 is powered by two Albion 230hp engines in each motor car.

This version is a refurbished unit, no gangways, with 1st class in Blue/Grey livery. The full set comes as DMBS+TS+TC(L)+DBMS.

Features:

  • Class 115 / Albion V6 Engine Sounds
  • Manual gearbox and a double window in first class
(this and the engines separate it from the 127 class)
  • Working emissive head- and tail lights
  • First class seating with individual chairs
  • Details such as First class stripe, BR logo, handrails on cabin and front.
