Description:

The Class 127 was designed as a stop-gap measure until the electrification of the St.Pancras-Bedford line. Each unit featured four 238hp V8 Rolls Royce engines, which were coupled to a hydraulic twin-disc torque converter. When introduced in late 1959 the 127 shortened the St. Pancras to Bedford travel time by about 30 minutes. After closure of that line many were converted for Express Parcel service.

This model represents a class 127 in Rail Blue Livery with Full Yellow Ends. Like the Class 127 Parcel Conversion, this model uses new engine sounds recorded from an actual class 127.

Features:

  • Light emitting markers, set dependent on direction of travel
  • Authentic Rolls Royce C8 Engine sounds.
  • Some extra cabin exterior details
  • Rail Blue Livery with Full Yellow Ends and BR Logo
