Class 115 BR Green – small warning panel
The Class 115 was build by Derby for the Chiltern Lines and Manchester-Liverpool express services. 41 of these high density 4-car units were delivered in 1960 and remained in service until the early 90s.
Unlike the very similar class 127, this class used gearboxes and hence would retain its blue square control system. The class 115 is powered by two Albion 230hp V6 engines in each motor car.
This version is in BR Green with a small (early) warning panel, no gangways and a first class section.
