Whistles at Stations
Back from Transport Fever 1, the much requested feature is back: train horns! This will return vanilla train whistles sounding at stations when the doors are closing. This works on all new electrics, any steam engine, and any diesel.
This will not work on mods with modified sound configs, as this only changes the default sound config files to blow the horn when the doors are closing.
This will not work with any other mod that alters the original games soundset files. It literally is just adding one line of code to make the horns blow when the doors close.
C’mon guys, lets institute this for more trains! Just add this to your line of code to your soundset:
Currently, UG has not made it possible for crossings to have crossing whistles. I have personally contacted them regarding making whistle posts to open the possibility of whistles at multiple locations such as yard entrances and tunnels, but it may be a while if at all, at least regarding this idea.
