Description:

The Highliner is a bilevel electric multiple unit (EMU) railcar built for commuter use in Illinois, having been built by three makers: the St. Louis Car Company from 1971 to 1972 and Bombardier from 1978 to 1979, with these being the first-generation Highliner I railcars; later, from 2005 to 2006 and from 2012 to 2016, the second-generation railcar, the Highliner II, was built by Nippon Sharyo, and, unlike the St Louis- and Bombardier-built Highliners, which looked the same, the Nippon Sharyo-built Highliners bore a greater resemblance to the Gallery cars that Nippon Sharyo was in charge of building for Metra. This model aims to recreate, as accurately as possible, the first-gen Highliner Is, having bell audio, accurate horn audio, and all that. Liveries and edits off of these are allowed, just credit me and mark this as a Required Item.
