Description:

Mazda 787B

Derived from Mazda’s own 787 developed in 1990, Mazda 787B is a fruit of Mazda’s countless labors in Le Mans since their debut. With the controversial Group C regulations in 1991, the 787B was entered in the lower-division C2 class, bringing with it the newly built 2.6 L rotary engine producing up to 700 hp on restricted figures, along with numerous improvements including bodywork. The reliability-focused package gave the Japanese manufacturer their 1991 24 Hours of Le Mans victory, the first win for Japanese makers and the only outright win for the rotary engines so far.

3 liveries are available for this car, in addition to 6 additional liveries and 1 blank car. This includes:
– #18 Mazdaspeed (1991 24 Hours of Le Mans / C2 Class)
– #55 Mazdaspeed (1991 24 Hours of Le Mans / C2 Class)
– #201 Mazdaspeed (1991 All-Japan Sports Prototype Championship)
– original white and blue Mazdaspeed livery
– a blue variant of the #55 Mazdaspeed livery
– Goodyear Red, based on a diecast model
– Goodyear Blue, based on a diecast model
– Ravenwest Motorsport (from Race Driver GRID)
– Stealth car (from Gran Turismo 5)

In addition, players can make their own liveries using the available paint parts through the "custom colors" option.
