BMW V12 LMR
BMW V12 LMR
After a failed run with its V12 LM in 1998, BMW, along with Williams F1, wanted to try again with a new and improved car, just in time for 1999. The V12 LMR succeeded the 1998 car, with an all-new bodywork, better cooling duct design, and a smaller roll hoop. The car retained V12 LM’s 6.0 L V12 engine and raced in not only 24 Hours of Le Mans but also American Le Mans Series, this time with many successes which includes one Le Mans win.
6 liveries are available for this car, with 4 placeholder liveries:
– #15 BMW Motorsport (1999 24 Hours of Le Mans / LMP Class)
– #16 BMW Motorsport "Art Car" (1999 24 Hours of Le Mans pre-qualifying / LMP Class)
– #17 BMW Motorsport (1999 24 Hours of Le Mans / LMP Class)
– #42 BMW Motorsport (2000 American Le Mans Series / LMP Class)
– #43 BMW Motorsport (2000 American Le Mans Series / LMP Class)
– BMW "Sebring" (original livery based on 1999 12 Hours of Sebring entry)
In addition, players can change the car’s color through the "custom colors" option.
