RPP Institutions
Inspired by Europa Universalis IV, this mod adds Institutions to the game as a new gameplay mechanic that significantly impacts each era in a unique way.
Once enough civilizations reach a given era, the corresponding Institution will have a chance to spawn and start spreading around the world.
Those quick to embrace them will reap their benefits sooner and gain an edge over their adversaries, while laggards will suffer penalties to their scientific output and happiness.
The InstitutionsI – PhilosophyAppears in the Classical Era. When fully embraced:
- +5% Production towards Wonders.
- -5% Faith costs.
- +5% Border expansion rate in cities.
II – FeudalismAppears in the Medieval Era. When fully embraced:
- +1 Influence per turn with City-States you could demand tribute from.
- +5% Ranged Combat Strength in cities with a garrison.
- +5% Food or Production from Internal Trade Routes.
III – RenaissanceAppears in the Renaissance Era. When fully embraced:
- +5% generation of Great People.
- +15% Gold from Trade Missions.
- +10% Gold from sea trade routes.
IV – IndustrializationAppears in the Industrial Era. When fully embraced:
- +5% Population growth in all cities.
- Newly founded cities start with 1 extra Population.
- +10% Worker speed.
V – NationalismAppears in the Modern Era. When fully embraced:
- +10% Production of military units.
- -5% Gold cost of purchasing units.
- -10% Unhappiness from Population in Occupied cities.
VI – HegemoniesAppears in the Atomic Era. When fully embraced:
- +15% chance of successfully rigging City-State elections.
- +15% chance of catching enemy Spies.
- +2 Gold from trade routes to civilizations with a shared ideology.
VII – GlobalismAppears in the Information Era. When fully embraced:
- +10% Tourism from civilizations you have an open border agreement with.
- +10% Tourism from civilizations you have a trade route with.
- +10% generation of Great musicians.
Important: RPP Institutions is currently NOT compatible with any mod that add new eras.
