Cover Snipe Re-animation w/ FFADC (CoD WW3)
This is a small animation tweak mod that re-used vanilla animations assets to effectively make infantry soldiers reduce time reacting to hostile contact in the direction of the chest-level cover they use (Referred to as snipe_cover in Editor or cover_from_snipe_gun in animation files.) by switching stances instead of conducting a 180° turn, most of which the time-lapse of the animation often result in one’s death in the heat of intense gunfight.
Please check the Cover Mod Collection if you want to see which one has dedicated Cover patch

Just imagine this, instead of facing away and losing track of the enemy while in cover, you can just simply kneel down and peek to keep an eye on enemy movement, and just stand up to engage.
==PROS==
1. Effectively reduces time to return fire in front of the cover by switching stances instead of turning around, AND killing that occasional bug where their aim is pointed upwards.
2. The entities behave in the same way they do for vanilla animations, they take cover when reloading, and keep low when under the heavy suppression or under the threat of insurmountable odds.
3. For convenience, they now hold back weapons when in cover, this is a result of a simple animation re-naming.
4. I feel as though this fits the modern small-unit tactics that CoD WW3 era emphasizes, as opposed to the vanilla animation, you just don’t lean against cover most of the time anyway.
==CONS==
1. Since they only kneel in front of the cover, the time to react against flanking opponents from the rear increases by about 5% as they need to manually turn around. (Testing concluded they still do as fine engaging enemies behind, but situational results may vary.)
– This version for the COD WW3 game, and even COD WW3 submod/addon as long as they don’t modify the file
human_anm.ext.
Q: WHY ARE THESE VIDEOS? NO PICS, NO CLICKS, NO SUB, SCRUB.
A: Yeah, uh… pictures alone cannot really demonstrate how it works.
Q: Compatibility patch for this *Modification* because some animations from the mod vanished in the Editor.
A1: Roger that, let me know and I’ll see what I can do about it, it is a conflict of human_anm.ext file.
Q: What addon is the second video?
A: It’s a personal project of mine called "Counter Insurgency" which is using COD WW3 as its parent mod. Animations are from multiple high-profile mods such as Armageddon and NTC Tactical Animations, as well as Red Rising, you name it… I might release it sometime later, but I don’t feel like getting on rough grounds yet.
