Description:

This mod adds Blueblood from Chimera Squad as a soldier by allowing him to join your Gatecrasher mission (turned off by default) or by using the console command: AddBluebloodToHQ

BLUEBLOOD

Blueblood spent his formative years in City 31, during the occupation, with his father, a third-generation police officer. When his father transitioned from police work to private investigation, Blueblood apprenticed with his father’s detective agency, helping the underserved.

STRENGTHS
  • Taking Multiple Shots armed with his Pistol.
  • Strategic mind and his precision targeting, particularly with his special sidearm, Arcthrower, which can blast through line-of-sight penalties and enemy cover bonuses.

The Requirements listed are all Required… PLUS for the mod to function properly please include 1 of the following:

NOTE

  • Blueblood’s Lancer Pistol abilities were already created within Mitzruti’s Perk Pack using the Arcthrower. Ultimately I decided to go this route instead of remaking all the abilities. Plus the Arcthrower seems thematic for the son of a third generation police officer.
  • Blueblood was not designed to be super powerful, as I wanted to leave the option open for having multiple soldiers with this class if desired. With some upgrades he can pack a pretty powerful shot and can be excellent at disorienting enemies.
  • Since Chimera Squad didn’t give the Agents first and last names I went with the Voice Actors who played the Agent.
  • I would love to see Blueblood added through a different method. If anyone has any suggestions (that know how to code it) please let me know.
KNOWN ISSUE
  • Blueblood will start with the Assault Rifle equipped. Not 100% sure if this was a mod conflict on my own end but issue is fairly minor. Just requires swapping it out for a pistol.
  • I do have code placed to allow Blueblood to start on the Gatekeeper mission, but with the issue with the assault rifle I wouldn’t recommend it.

  • If you would like to train other soldiers as a "Gunslinger" class, add a numeric value to these options: +NumInForcedDeck=0 +NumInDeck=0

  • You can add Blueblood to the Gatekeeper mission here or modify his starting appearance.
