End of Iraq-Iran war…Negotiatios beetwen sides are tough and can brake any moment…US goverment decide to convince Iran to settle its quick by doing small ampfibious landing at iranian cost to show off what could happen if negotiations were to broke off…but its expected that Iran will put heavy resistance no matter costs as its would show its weaknes.
To your disposition you will have Marine landing group supported by 82ND Airborne that will drop from plane to help secure bridgehead at coast but you must control air space first!
Naval assets consists of Nimitz carrier and its escort
Air base in bahrain will give additional air support
Remember to keep losess low or its gonna embarass us!
For immersion reasons i recommend using ground forces to destroy ground instalations
