New York Central Red and Grey Pacemaker Boxcars
I’m not back with more geeps! "This time its the red and grey pacemaker cars, which should be a update for the previous mod, but I am power hungry"–Ponga, just now
In 1946, the Pacemaker service was started to make a LCL (less-than car load) freight service between New York City and Buffalo, NY and by 1951 was extended westward to Chicago and south to Charleston, WV. To bring eye candy and brand recognition to the service, all 1000 cars set aside were painted in "vermilion (red) and grey" with white text, and later changed some years later to black text due to crews complaints of not being able to read it. (it’s a feature)
