Wolfenstein – English Names Patch
This patch aims to provide a better localization experience by replacing the Chinese names of units and squads with their English equivalents. The primary objective has now been completed.
The secondary objective of this patch is to address the lack of names for certain assets within the mod. Many items, such as weapons, vehicle entities, ammo, and infantry entities, previously lacked proper names. Instead, they displayed paths like "desc/human/mp/ger/late/af_02" or placeholders like "???Katzen" for squads. This patch ensures these items are now properly named. Please note that this objective is still a work in progress. Be patient, as it’s quite tedious to set up the names for each unit—especially when the only guide I have for what they’re supposed to be are initials. (Great example: ger/late/bb_00 to ger/late/bb_05, what in the world does ‘bb’ mean? In the end, I ended up with "Homeland Security.")
Incompatibilities
Since this patch is purely a localization overwrite, it is unlikely to cause compatibility issues with other mods. As such, you should check the main page (found under the required add-ons) for potential conflicts instead.
