More Ineresting Nomad Vassals
Hi everyone, I’m a new modder and I want to start publishing some mods. This is my first mod, so if you find any bugs, please let me know and… have mercy on me 😀
The Nomads DLC is very nice but has several weak points, especially compared to the Nomads in CK2. This first mod will attempt to improve the gameplay when playing as a Nomad vassal. Nomad vassals are almost as limited as administrative government vassals; they can’t war with each other, they can’t have a higher rank than theirs unless the liege grants it, and there are other things I’ll try to improve.
Currently, the mod allows for a more interesting way to play as Nomad vassals. You have access to the Nomadic County Quarrel CB as long as you have the rank of Count or Duke, and the Nomadic Duchy Quarrel CB as long as you have the rank of King, against the non-nomad vassals of your realm you will have the county and ducal conquest cb. Additionally, based on your dominance, you can dominate a de jure title that hasn’t been created yet, just like independent nomads do. You can also attempt to dominate a title of the same rank as your liege, effectively becoming independent.
There are currently one small bug I’ll try to fix, but again, I’m a newbie and started modding a week ago: if you’re a vassal of a nomad duke, but aren’t a de jure vassal, attempting to dominate your duke’s de jure title will disregard your liege’s war, and you’ll become independent without your liege being affected; and if you’re a vassal of a duke, your liege will not be considered in the war, and you’ll become independent without your liege being affected.
