Because its a RC build you cant interact with artifacts that are more than around 200 meters away.

— Lore —
After a large number of artifacts were discovered in the region known as the High Seas, the Stino Corporation’s newly completed Recovery and Salvage Fleet set sail to the region.

The first artifacts were recovered by the Stingray. The smallest vessel in the fleet, but also the most technologically advanced. Equipped with a ROV nicknamed "James", the Stingray successfully retrieved several items from the ocean floor. The ROV allowed for efficient recovery without needing to send humans down, significantly reducing both cost and risk. However, the ROV’s limited range of 200 meters meant that manned submarine missions were still necessary for retrieving more distant artifacts.

Once the initial batch of artifacts was collected, they were loaded onto a cargo ship and sent back to Stino Corporation headquarters for analysis.
