Fancy’s FOTS Reskin of a Reskin
This Reskin mod is based on the reskins from The Yogi’s Tactics and Uniform mod.
I love The Yogi’s mod but the more I learn about the Boshin War, the more I want to tweak some stuff. I started with a mod (that’s already unlisted) where I made the Traditional armored units less armored, and then I’ve been trying to reskin the whole FOTS units, and hopefully this is the one.
I can’t list them all for now, but here’s what I can
– Almost all of the late and modern units were reskinned. Gave them a more varied look. Line infantry (including the Shogunate ones) will have different clothes and headwear appropriate for their tier
– White Bear and Black Bear soldiers will no longer wear the bear skin hats. White Bear soldiers will wear paper Jingasas and Black Bear soldiers will wear conical jingasas. This is based on DK’s Reskin
-Traditional Units are affected. Ki (except Yari Ki) and Kachi units were given a less armored look, where they wear jingasas alongside their kabutos, and others don’t wear breastplate armor. Spear Levies as well were given some new variety which includes modern apparel for them.
– Certain units remains the same as The Yogi gave them. Units such as the Shogunate and Imperial Guards are untouched
Compatible with any mods, even The Yogi’s original mod
Also compatible with C4nn0nF0dd3r_’s Skirmish Line (testing it as I’m typing this)
Keep in mind that my mod must be loaded above one of the aforementioned mods (they’re not compatible to each other). Any other reskin mods may not be compatible, though investigate if they can be.
I highly recommend FotS Factions Uniform Colour Mod so the colors will look natural with my mod, as intended
