Our lives changed forever when the A-ELE02 "Artemis" asteroid broke up in Earth’s atmosphere and rained down on the land below. We saw it coming a mile away…but our petty differences and bickering over lines on a map prevented a cooperative effort to halt the disaster, and the smaller attempts by the superpowers to stop it fell short one after another. We survived…barely. The land was now barren and lifeless. Our once invincible governments had been annihilated and the rule of law was little more than a memory. Every day became a struggle to survive the elements, and each other. An event like this should have united all of us. We should have learned an important lesson in those days after armageddon. We should have been able to come together to help our fellows survive. But still we fight. Using the weapons and technology of those who came before. Bearing the grudges and rivalries of our forefathers. fighting for the sake of nations whose borders have long since been erased. We won’t stop, and neither will they. These are truly the end days.
