Description:

Nissan R390 GT1 Race Car (1997)

With the moderate success Nismo’s Skyline GT-R has in Le Mans and the GT1 class’s nature of quickly evolving, a new car had to be built in order to keep the Japanese manufacturer in contention. As such, they called in Tom Walkinshaw Racing (TWR) and built the R390 GT1, whose name was based on Nissan’s contender in the 60s, the R380. Powering the car is Nissan’s own 3.5 L V8 twin turbo engine found in its R89C car, citing lower center of gravity and higher reliability, with an approximate power of 641 hp (650 PS / 478 kW). Scrutineering failure meant that not only the car had to be modified, but had various problems during the 1997 race.

3 liveries are available for this car, with 7 placeholder liveries of all sorts available as well:
– #21 Nissan Motorsport (1997 24 Hours of Le Mans / GT1 class)
– #22 Nissan Motorsport (1997 24 Hours of Le Mans / GT1 class)
– #23 Nissan Motorsport (1997 24 Hours of Le Mans / GT1 class)

In addition, players can change the car’s color through the "custom colors" option.
