This interaction will appear when a war breaks out, but it can only draw the vassal into defensive wars; the willingness to join offensive wars will be -1000.

The base willingness is -50. To draw the vassal into the war, a certain level of favorability, as well as buffs related to personality and other traits, are required.

The AI has a very low tendency to use this interaction. Since the two parties are not allies, the AI cannot judge the balance of military strength when a war starts, making it highly likely to be soundly defeated.
