Description:

This mod reworks migration and citizenship laws to align with the realities of the 19th and early 20th centuries.

• Removes ahistorical policies such as No Migration Controls and Multiculturalism. These are removed entirely for now, though a better historical implementation may come later. Citizenship laws, religious laws, and a pop’s culture and religion all play a key role in migration both internal and external.

• Ensures migration reflects historical acceptance patterns based on shared heritage, cultural traits, religion, and discrimination laws.

• Models the role of religion and citizenship as key factors in cross-cultural migration during this era.

• Prevents mass migration between groups without strong cultural or religious ties, reflecting the norms and policies of the period. For example, you will no longer see Northern England become 60% Punjabi due to internal migration from the Raj.

• Requires Tier 4 acceptance (60+) for new cultural communities to form in states. This does not affect previously existing cultural communities. For changes to existing communities, see:

Move Pops Mod
Decrees Variety Pack

• This will practically eliminate all non-heritage migration unless religious laws add enough acceptance to specific pops. For example, a State Religion United Kingdom could see Anglophone, African-heritage Protestants migrate to England due to shared language and the government’s emphasis on belonging to the state religion.
