Sandworm
Initially intended as a remaster of my old ‘Simple CQC’ map, it eventually turned into something of its own thing.
"We got a distress signal from a small, deserted island. They say that Raven soldiers, along with some scientists from some unknown company, have taken over the land. Locals are pissed: not only do the not know what are these two doing there, they are also constantly getting oppressed by both, just so that they can do their "mission". Command is concerned about Ravens plans, and the company… We can’t find it in any federal registers. We got a green light to intervene, so get ready."
There are 9 control points:
– 2 villages (each has a HMG and a jeep with HMG);
– 2 harbors (each has 2 transport boats and one attack boat);
– 2 topside points for additional long-range support;
– central point (slow to capture, but spawns 2 attack helicopters);
– 1 additional control point.
Tested in ‘BATTLE’ and ‘SPEC-OPS’ game modes.
Works well with 40-50 bots in each team.
Known issues:
– Though I tried to remove all the holes in the geometry, there’s still a chance that I’ve missed some. Tell me if I missed any.
