Description:

Changes the penalties associated with using the wrong unit in the wrong terrain. In the default game the negatives for being in terrain are almost non existent, but in reality a battalion of infantry fighting while submerged to their waists in a marsh would find it significantly more difficult, as would a unit of cavalry in a forest.

Large units in forest will now lose significant charge bonus (80%) and speed (40%), as well as melee defence (40%) and attack (20%). Vanilla is 20% melee attack/defence/speed.

Small units in shallow water will now gain significant mass due to stability (50%), but lose melee attack (20%), melee defence (40%) and very large speed penalty (60%). Vanilla is 20% melee attack/defence/speed.

Compatible with everything.

"The Cathayan column marched along the plains, unknowing of the violence that was about to be unleashed upon them. Warpfire cracked as the skaven guns opened up from their concealed positions in the treeline, shields crumbling and the screams of soldiers dying echoing across the field. Recovering from their shock, the Cathayan cavalry charged headfirst into the gunfire, many of them being cut down on the approach in the hellish cascade.

The skaven, being the cowardly creatures they are, retreated into the forests, drawing the horsemen into uneven and difficult to maneuver terrain, jumping on them from the tops of trees upon the riders and employing all manner of deadly tricks. The cathayans fought valiantly but the few remnants of them fled from the trap."
